Once again… Echolands is taking their talents to Moose Jaw! That’s right Moose Jaw.. watch out! Saturday, January 21st, 2012… at the Mae Wilson Theater, we will be featuring three short films by Saskatchewan filmmakers! If you missed our End of Summer Screening Shindig, here’s your chance to catch T.R. McCauley’s Hunting Ground, Rob Hillstead’s Chelsea and Trevor Corrigan & Bernie Hernando’s Betty Boom! Come out and join us on September 10, 2011 at The Artesian on 13th to celebrate the end of summer! We are having 2 premieres … The Hernando/Corrigan project, BETTY BOOM, Rob Hillstead’s short film CHELSEA as well a T.R. McCauley’s HUNTING GROUND. There will also be a music video premiere and performance by Regina’s own rock-a-billy band, GREAT ROOMS! So come out Saturday, September 10 for a fun-filled night of friends, films and tom-foolery! So BETTY BOOM… an epic short film that was written and directed by Trevor Corrigan and Bernie Hernando is finally complete after 3 long years of production. Originally conceived in 3D as part of a 3D triple feature, Betty Boom has now become a standalone action adventure film that will rock your socks! It features some amazing visuals complimented by a kick ass audio treatment courtesy of Talking Dog Studios. The Prezzie™ Awards gala evening is our way of giving back and honoring the volunteers who contribute blood, sweat and tears for the love of independent film! This year’s event took place at the Artesian in Regina, and was hosted by James Whittingham. Special thanks to Presentation Award Committee President™ Michael J. Knoblauch™! Congratulations to all the winners and nominees! It was an amazing night that was capped off with musical entertainment provided by the Regina’s own Sound Society!

Juice Pigs is a short film co-produced with our good buddies at Lolofilm Productions!
Produced on a shoe-string budget, this 40 minute action comedy was a bloody good time and was well received around the province! It was (as Borat would say)… a great success!
